Our Privacy Promise
What We Store
When you create a code, we save the coordinates you share and basic details about that code. When someone uses your code to share their location, we store those coordinates too.
We don't track where you go after that. We don't know what you had for breakfast. We don't peek at your photos or contacts. Just locations when you explicitly share them through codes.
How Long We Keep It
Temporary codes (Glocodes): These expire automatically after 30 minutes. We keep the location data around for 30 days after expiration, then it's gone forever. Think of it like a Snapchat for locations.
Permanent codes (Loccodes): These stick around as long as you want them to. They're yours to keep or delete whenever you feel like it. We won't touch them unless you ask us to.
You're In Control
Your data belongs to you, not us. Want to delete a code? Click delete in your dashboard. Want to delete everything? Close your account and we'll remove all your data.
No hoops to jump through. No "are you sure?" emails. No waiting periods. Your data, your choice, done.
What We Don't Do
No Selling Data
We never sell your location data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. Your privacy isn't for sale.
No Tracking
We don't follow you around the web or build behavioral profiles. We only know what you explicitly share.
No Data Mining
We don't analyze your patterns to predict your behavior or feed you targeted ads. We're not that kind of company.
No Third-Party Sharing
Your location data stays with us. We don't share it with third parties except where required by law.
No Hidden Costs
If you're not paying with money, you're usually paying with data. Not here. Our business model is transparent.
No Sneaky Terms
Our privacy policy is written in plain English, not legalese. You shouldn't need a law degree to understand it.
Your Rights
Right to Access
Request a copy of all data we have about you. We'll send it to you in a readable format within 30 days.
Right to Correct
If we have incorrect information about you, you can request that we fix it. Easy as that.
Right to Delete
Delete your account and all associated data anytime. We'll erase everything within 30 days.
Right to Export
Take your data with you. We'll provide it in a portable format you can use elsewhere.
Right to Object
