1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Glosaro. By accessing or using our location sharing services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Glosaro, operated under the laws of Puerto Rico and the United States of America.
2. Eligibility
To use Glosaro, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete registration information if creating an account
If you are under 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent to use the Service.
3. Description of Service
Glosaro provides location sharing services through:
- Temporary location codes: 8-digit codes that expire after 30 minutes
- Permanent location links: Persistent links for recurring locations
- Map integration: Display locations on interactive maps
- Navigation: Integration with third-party navigation apps
- Pro features: Advanced analytics, reports, and customization (paid subscription)
- Gen API: Developer API access (paid subscription)
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
You may create an account to access additional features. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
4.2 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use Glosaro to share locations for legitimate purposes, including:
- Personal location sharing with friends and family
- Business address sharing with customers
- Event location coordination
- Delivery and navigation assistance
5.2 Prohibited Use
You may NOT use Glosaro to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, or invade anyone's privacy
- Share locations of others without their consent
- Engage in illegal activities or promote violence
- Spam, phish, or distribute malware
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Overload or disrupt our servers or networks
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Location Data and Privacy
By using Glosaro, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You have the right to share the locations you create codes for
- Location codes can be accessed by anyone who has the code
- Temporary codes expire after 30 minutes and are deleted
- You are responsible for who you share codes with
- Our Privacy Policy governs our collection and use of your information
7. Paid Services
7.1 Subscriptions
Glosaro Pro ($19.99/month) and Glosaro Gen ($99.99/month) are paid subscription services.
- Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled
- You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period
- Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
- No refunds for partial months or unused features
7.2 Payment
Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal). You agree to their terms and conditions. All fees are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
7.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until the end of the paid period.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Glosaro IP
All content, features, and functionality of Glosaro (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software) are owned by Glosaro and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Glosaro for personal or business purposes. This license does not include the right to:
- Modify, copy, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Transfer or sublicense to third parties
9. Third-Party Services
Glosaro integrates with third-party services (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, Uber, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
10.1 Service "As Is"
GLOSARO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10.2 Location Accuracy
Location data depends on your device's GPS and may not always be accurate. We are not responsible for inaccurate location data or any consequences resulting from location inaccuracies.
10.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOSARO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or errors
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Third-party conduct or content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glosaro and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or rights of third parties
- Any location data you share through the Service
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Puerto Rico. You waive your right to a jury trial or class action.
12.3 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Posting a notice on our website
- Sending an email to registered users
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
Your continued use of Glosaro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them without notice
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Glosaro
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control
